This is the schematic for HL Pimped Alice DC V.56:
Big difference with the original HL Pimped Alice V.40 is capsule polarization. New PA DC design provides about 58-60V for capsule polarization, instead of 35V as the PA V.40. This allows output signal level to be higher. This was one of the main drawbacks of PA V.40 when used with LDC capsules.
Some compromises had to be made, so all components could fit into the PCB. There is no place for the HFEQ switch, but HFEQ components are in place. Also, optional dual serial Zener diodes had to go, but that was not a big loss.
Price of PA DC PCB will be the same as the original Gold PA V.40 PCB. If your shipping cost is higher than 10 bucks, you will receive one additional PCB for free. 🙂
